What sort of equipment do you want during your accessible holiday?
A wheelchair accessible holiday in France sounds like a brilliant idea BUT what about all those other 'bits and peices' you normally need?
Equipment. If you are disabled then the chances are you use various bits of kit to help you through the day. This is a subject that many people forget or don't actually want to discuss, but it is incredibly important to ensure that during your holiday in France you are comfortable, your needs can be met and that your holiday is accessible.
Bottled gasses (oxygen) can be obtained locally and nurses can call to administer drugs or provide other care as required. Our local doctors surgery and indeed hospitals have, in the past been very helpfull.
Previous cusomers who have had to use them have been very pleased with the service they gave. It's not something anybody really wants to 'try out' while they are on holiday but it's nice to know the system works and we know how to use it in case you need assistance during your stay here.
We are building up our collection of wheelchairs, shower chairs and commode chairs, hoists, mattresses and loop systems to name just a few.
With the exception of profiling beds, All equipment owned by us is FREE OF CHARGE for you to use. This is on a first come, first served basis so be sure to book any items you require in advance please.
For everything else we use a local medical supplies firm here in Brittany who seem to be able to get anything we ask for. (except power wheelchairs)
