Seen from the air, La Roche-derrien in Brittany, France is surrounded on three sides by the river Jaudy.
If you move your mouse over the picture you can see exactly where we are.
The tide (yes, this bit of the Jaudy is tidal) is half-out in this picture.
The large path extending along the riverbank to the right will lead you into the bottom of the town and is wheelchair accessible from our garden.
You can also access the top of the town by walking up the road (also to the right of our building).
Once in the town center.... the top and the bottom are linked by a pretty steep hill so if you are doing a circuit you need to enter the town by the road and having gone down the hill you can return along the riverbank.
Easy as long as you go the right way around.
